  1. This car might actually bring me back to a Subaru sedan.
  2. Subaru gives you a switch to turn it off as do many other manufacturers. I have it on my 2019 Forester and it's actually not bad at all.
  3. Yes you can update while being driven but you cannot turn the car off until the update is 100% completed.
  4. Funny in that most folks debadge their cars and not add badges but to each their own. I have been thinking of putting a TURBO badge on mine with a flame:p
  5. @IcEWoLF...you know that's the truth my friend.
  6. Just got word from Subaru that the price of their extended warranties just went up effective July 6th by $20. Nothing substantial but letting everyone know in case they get an updated quote and it's a tad higher than before.
  7. ^^^yep, totally normal to be seen in direct sunlight. The lines are the touch sensitive areas that detect where you place your finger on the screen. Nothing wrong with the unit.
  8. Corgrats...you have "the" most expensive Subaru Legacy 3.6 in the world:)
  9. Thank you to everyone who is supporting Luke. He sent me a note and stated that he is very grateful that you are taking my advice and calling him to ensure his prices can't be beat. I get nothing out of this financially but Luke is a good friend and a great guy that will take awesome care of all of you willing to give him an opportunity.
  10. I, personally, do not like, nor do I trust, ANY third-party warranty. One went out of business on me that was a A+ rated company. The manufacturer (Subaru) will always be here to support your car without any hassle or out of pocket expense to reimburse. Third-party warranties are NEVER as good as the ones from the manufacturer itself. You, most likely, WAY overpaid for that Zurich plan too as they are HUGE profit makes for the dealers. Just my two cents!
  11. You should call him regardless...99.99% of the time your dealer will not even come close but you can call Luke now and get a cost and then see if your dealer is willing to match it or not and you'll have your numbers in advance. It ll depends on the deductible and the term/mileage so to say "$1500" means nothing at this point until you know what you want. Many options are far less than that through Luke and some are more based on the above. This is what I dug up from late last year but I think the pricing is still the same. There are other options as well but here are a few: 7/70 $ 100.00 ded $725.00 8/80 $ 100.00 ded $800.00 10/100 $ 100.00 ded $ 1350.00 7/70 zero ded $ 905.00 8/80 zero ded $ 975.00 10/100 zero ded $ 1530.00
