  1. I have left a 6mt spec b gearbox with quaife front diff from my swap, if anyone is interested - just a short info to me.
  2. Short update, my DCCD gearbox and DCCDpro unicontroller installed. It's unbelievable how the car feels, no more understeer and unbelievable cornering speed. For me it's a shame, that Subaru doesn't use the DCCD as standard.
  3. I hope you are not thinking i´m a big noob. Maybe i have asked my question not so clear. Can i install the tranny without speedometer sensor only with screw nut to close the hole from the sensor shaft - or is the (dead) sensor needed to let the speedometer shaft work without destroying the tranny. There is a little price difference between sensor and nut.
  4. Maybe a noob question, but will install DCCD 6MT coming week, so i will solve questions before. I have a ´06 STi tranny with speedometer gear, but my Spec B doesn´t have. So i can leave this speedometer thing just unmounted??
  5. oh, now i´m bit confused. For the R180 i need the axles from Spec B. But the 28421AG010 and 28421AG011 are from R160 with 25 spline count in/out. The Spec B axle has inner 27 spline and out 25 spline count. Or has someone experience with the remanufactored parts from cardone - some say, it´s cheap china crap.
  6. I need help. In Europe the Spec B wasn´t common. So it´s more than hard to find the needed rear axles 28421AG03B. Can someone give me a contact to a seller of these items? Or can i also use the 28421AG020 from the RHD UK Spec B? Thanks.
  7. I found out, that the newer 6MT from 08 (or 09) up have no speed sensor anymore, so you will need the vsspro from dccdpro to get a speedsignal for older cars. Maybe it was written some posts before, i didn´t found that info - so i gave it now to you.
  8. I looked around, it seems to be not easy to get 2.5 gt-b stuff - especially here in Europe/UK. But if i change the #24 at a STi rear diff to a normal R160 flange, than i can use a specB or 4AT prop shaft as well, i´m right or is there a problem?
  9. I will keep you updated, but it will take some time to have the money for the swap - logged in for spring/summer next year.
  10. @SBT It seems, that to use a complete tranny is the easier way to go. Just a last question, especially for LH driver, can i use a RH tranny in my car - more offers than for LH trannys and the price is better (UK market is very nice). The thing with the oilpump is very strange, at opposedforces she is listed for all spec B tranny. Thanks for your excelent support.
  11. Do you mean this oil pump? - yes. Just for the installation is there no difference for LH and RH tranny in LH car? Thanks
  12. can you help me with a link about the "hole in the side of the transmission" i couldn´t found it about the the search. Thanks.
  13. @SBT It seems that you have experience. Can i "only" install the DCCD in to my tranny - how i can manage the wiring stuff? I have a Quaife already as FLSD, so it would be nice to have DCCD without to much trouble. Thanks
