  1. There are 5 Legacy's in my lot at work 3 5th gens (2x 2.5i 1x 3.6r) and 2 4th gens (2x GT). Subaru club all day.
  2. Wouldn't hurt the engine/tranny but suspension components covered by the 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty could be denied service. For example, one of the new tires I put on was bad and was causing the car to pull. I called about alignment and the dealership said no free alignment due to aftermarket wheels and tires. Luckily the problem wasn't the alignment but you see the point I'm driving at. From what I've seen and read the dealers will fight anything in hopes that you'll pay out of pocket for it.
  3. Tires are almost exactly what the OEM spec is for the 17in wheel option. Not looking for huge wheels or totally stuffed wheel wells. You "should" do whatever your preference is. Also, whether or not they void the warranty or refuse whatever service you request due to a modification, the net result is the same.....I didn't get told no by the dealership but there are plenty of people on this forum who have been told they caused whatever failure they had because they used aftermarket parts.
  4. Na, the tires don't look nearly as tiny in person and I don't want to give up any ride quality. The stealership already commented that the wheels and rack are "non-OEM", not looking for another reason to void the warranty lol.
