  1. Its been quite a few years since I left Fla and sold my GT wagon but I can second the above post about Wales garage . Ben is a bad ass technician and helped my car on several occasions .
  2. You should try Hawaii , Lots of curvey roads, beautiful scenery but the highest cost of living anywhere . I miss the days I had money to play and mod my ride back min Fla. I don't miss the traffic, anger and road rage though.
  3. LGT's are a dying breed , whatever meets are out there are WRX/STI and probably now BRZ kids . It was like that even 5-6 years ago.
  4. My twin brother Rod just picked up a cherry Red LGT Wagon . He's driving around in North Miami Beach area .
  5. Not sure but believe Rodrigo from WRXexperts in Miami does Accessport tunes . They tuned by brothers Subie and says they really did a great job with the tune.
  6. Always loved the drop and look of the swifts . If only you didn't lose so much suspension travel . My stock struts gave up the fight about a year after the swifts were on.
  7. I 95 def raises your blood pressure . I can't believe how people drive here in Soflo. It feels like you are under attack all then time. Its the ol, too many rats in a cage. I've been visiting this past week and remember when I was a part of this craziness with my modified Wagon. Living in Hawaii has mellowed me out . It has been great for my sanity . Peeps drive very mellow over there . I once saw a left hand turn signal go green and nobody honked their horn (considered very rude to do) at the guy looking at his phone. You would have been shot in Miami .
  8. Nice , looks much more even. Nothing like riding the exclusivity factor.
  9. Well you have I 95 which is a battlefield . Yes you are right , In South Fla there are no real places to drive in a spirited manner.
  10. We can still have that autocross duel, you and that smart car er civic now , me on my Miata if I bring it to Miami. Visiting there now. Trying to get used to the rat race again.
  11. Too bad I don't live there anymore. I used to try and get some Legacy peeps together and do Autocrosses or track days.
  12. In the Miami area there are a couple of Guys that do Mostly WRX's and STI's but they are very good. Rodrigo is one of the guys there and they are called WRXperts. Thev are very reasonable to Subie repair (did my brother 05 WRX's Timing and water pump for $ 800). They are also known for tweaking Subies . Rodrigo has a stock Turbo'ed STI that runs on E-85 and runs in the high 11's . They are getting famous for their tunes . Here is a link to them https://www.facebook.com/WRXperts/info
  13. Where in South Fla? Wales garage in Ft Lauderdale is good . Ask for Ben, he is a Subie enthusiast , used to have an LGT now rides an 06 STI.
  14. Yea I saw Leo's ex ride on Craigslist as well. Leo- you driving a civic now? What happened to the Smart car? I'm driving a Mazdaspeed 3 , fun but torquesteer isn't. Getting ready to delve back into the Turbo Subie realm.
