  1. Some more blonde jokes... What do you call a dead blonde in a closet? 1984 hide and seek world champion. Why did the blonde stare at the orange juice container for two hours? The carton said concentrate. Why did the blonde climb the chain link fence? To see what was on the other side. How many blondes does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Blondes don't screw in lightbulbs...they screw in back seats of cars.
  2. Wow. Now that's a place I haven't been to in a long time. The Willow. The only place I know of where you can cook your own steak/burger on the BBQ pit if you want. One of the best hole in the wall joints around.
  3. So I've read the multiple posts of those attempting to quiet down the aftermarket exhuast drone with not much success by applying dampening materials to the rear seat/trunk area. Just wondering if anyone has every tried applying sound deadener actually under the car instead? Came across some heat deflecting/dampening material at the local performance auto parts store and started thinking to myself what if I installed this stuff underbody instead. Anyone ever used this stuff before? http://www.thermotec.com/products/14600-suppressor-acoustical-heat-control-mat.html
  4. Just want to give huge props to the LGT community on here for being such a stand up group of people and for having each others back when it comes to scammers. Such a nice thing to see when my other hobby (rc cars) seems to be full of what seems like a disproportionate amount of scammers at times. If you ever want to be entertained by some stories of scammery, visit the RC Tech Marketplace Feedback forum. http://www.rctech.net/forum/trader-feedback-18/
  5. Wow...vinyl wrap an entire car. Never crossed my mind, nor had I every heard of it, but now you've got the wheels in my head spinning. I guess my #1 questions would be how well does it hold up? Does it bubble, shrink, wrinkle under hot/cold conditions? My LGT has some scratches and dings which I would very much like to have repaired. I even have a family owned body shop to get a discount on the body work portion but even then it still costs an arm and leg for paint and to get it resprayed. Flat black vinyl would match my black wheels nicely.
  6. Looky at all the GV natives coming out of the woodwork. Another one here, living in Sac now but the parents and brother still live up there. Heading up there Saturday as a matter of fact. Everytime I make the trip I see at least one or two LGTs on the area roads.
  7. White LGT 08-09 Sedan @ R/C Country Hobbies parking lot in Sac today at 1:00. Looked like aftermarket exhaust?
  8. I wonder if these would help me? My car really pushes in heavy wind, and I can't help but notice that hondas and other also rans don't seem to. Your input...???
  9. I'm good to go then. I will say it took me two days (4-5 hours each day) to install my UP, and remove and gut my stock DP and get it all back together. Of that, the DP only took me 1-2 of those hours, the remaining time was spent installing the UP. With that said, I've got access to all the right tools, spark plugs should be no problem for me from what I'm hearing.
  10. I need to do this. Just wondering how much of a PITA this is? If this is anything along the lines of what it took me to install my UP, I'll go to a shop and have it done.
  11. White LGT Sedan with dbTuned sticker in rear side window and what looked like a Perrin exhuast on 29th and E street yesterday around 12:45 in mid town Sac.
  12. Just spotted my twin. RBP LGT sedan, single exit exhaust, black wheels, looked like some sway bars under there too. 1:00 on Del Paso/Marysville Blvd. and followed you out on 80 over to Truxel Marketplace. Nice ride.
  13. Multiple this weekend. Took a trip to Tahoe. White LGT sedan travelling EB 50 in south shore area with what looked to be either a severely bent right front wheel or the lugs and the wheel itself were about to fall off. Can't remember color (it was late, I was drunk), LGT wagon, parking lot of 3 Peaks Resort in south shore Charcoal LGT wagon EB 50 near Camp Sacramento/Strawberry; and My twin ABP LGT sedan w/ski rack on EB50 while I was pulled off to the side of the highway so my wifey could blow chunks (we had alot to drink the night before)
  14. Okay...went down to stage 1 last night. I'm over my doubts. Sounds just right...I'll keep it for a while.
