  1. Does anyone have a set of stock wheels they'd be willing to part with? I got a set of take off r-compound tires and I'd like to try them at an upcoming track event but I don't feel like dropping massive amounts of dough on new wheels
  2. Well if you buy another home in the area let me know
  3. For about a year until I decide to buy a place of my own. Moving out of my current apartment (which has a garage) to cut rent in half but new place has no garage and my miata doesn't get driven much.
  4. Does anyone in Greenville (preferably near e. north main/wade hampton area) have garage space available that I can rent? I am moving in May and will need a place to put and occasionally work on my Miata
  5. Had some fun last subaruing around Greenville last evening... Also, welcome to the group Ryan.
  6. Anyone in the greenville area have an aftermarket exhaust? Looking at catback options... I absolutely can't stand to have drone, but the factory catback makes my car sound like a vacuum cleaner.
  7. Going to replace my axle tomorrow. Also, making slow progress on my clock replacement mod... Talks to both the factory ECU via SSM to get any engine parameters you want (boost, wgdc, knock sum, coolant temp, etc) as well as the original trip computer for boring things like mpg and distance to empty. Second screen arrives tomorrow. Left one will have ECU info, right one will have trip info and clock. http://i.imgur.com/7O1IEpF.png
  8. Happy halloween! Anyone going to CMP tomorrow?
  9. Yeah... That's not how drag strip timing works None of the times listed include reaction time. And a .237 isn't particularly good either - I could reliably do <0.100 in my previous car. AWD is tricky to launch though, so I was focused more on that than the tree. But, for the record, it was a brand new Audi A7 3.0t. No idea if it was modded or not, but he was running 13.5-13.9 all night. Around 40psi in the tires... at least, that's what it was last time I checked about a month ago
  10. Headed to the strip tonight for the first time. Not too shabby! 11. The silver wagon: http://i.imgur.com/oAbinsW.jpg I'll be checkin out cars and coffee, but probably driving my track rat Miata. It's not very interesting, but is more interesting than my very stock-looking Legacy GT
  12. So which one of you bums owns a brilliant silver wagon with brembos, tint, and parks it at MARC?
  13. Yep, that was me, and yes I am. I graduated and start work on Tuesday Apparently there's some kind of car meet on Sundays by the burlington coat factory / hooters, so I'm going to check that out tonight... Probably a bunch of ricers. Edit: Pretty decent turnout tonight, at least compare to what I'm used to. Good variety too. Had your donks (lifted 80's/90's american cars with huge wheels) in one area, lots of riced out civics and such in another, a bunch of mustangs somewhere else, some trucks, some corvettes, a viper. Might go again next weekend
