  1. Anyone have recommendations for performance shops in the Denver area?

  3. Looking for the V3 Accessport for the 07-12 Legacygt.
  4. Used Perrin 25mm F/R sway bars. front is somewhat rusty, rear is pretty rusty. A bit of paint stripper and powder coat would make these like new. Not really looking to ship as it would likely be 3x what I'm asking for these as they are heavy. If you really want to ship then you'll pay shipping & PP fees. Located in western MA SOLD Asking $50 for the set SOLD
  5. Interesting result. I'm curious which part exactly is too short as I would like to compare mine as well. If you would, could you possibly let me know which part exactly the the shop was talking about if you find out? And the measurement if possible??
  6. Did you remove the coilover before adjusting the preload or adjust it still installed? It sounds like your suspension is pre-compressing the shock. You could verify this by taking a measurement of the total shock body length while it is installed with the wheels off the ground. Then remove the lower shock mount and measure again and if it is longer after removal that likely means the suspension is compressing the entire shock. Also I should give an FYI, I am by no means a suspension expert, this is just similar sounding to my issues and this is as far as I've gotten with it.
  7. I have FA 500s and have dealt with a similar problem. When you have the rear of the car in the air with the wheels off you should be able grab the springs and twist them back and forth. If you can't move them then there is too much preload. Make sure before you install the rears that you set the height to match where the lower mounting point on the hub is or lower (as in ride height of the car). Then make any further height adjustments after the coilovers are installed. Has the car been previously lowered or was it on stock suspension before? My rear suspension was slammed by the previous owner so when I installed my FAs and tried to raise the rear the hub wanted to sit upwards towards the car. So the hub compresses the shock the more I raise it and I lose shock travel which ruins the ride.
  8. Both these headlights have chips taken out of them so I recently replaced them with refurbished scrapyard lights. Posting here just in case anyone wants em. Both have had the orange plastic signal parts removed, obviously. Drivers side is missing the far back corner (I still have the piece). chip does not compromise housings seal. Passenger has a large chip taken out of the top center. I do not have that piece but this chip also does not compromise the seal of the housing. $40+shipping each OBO
  9. 235/40/18. haven't measured depth, they're brand new, less than 30 miles on them
  10. For sale, a long shot here for how aggressive these are for a Legacy: Basically band new Aodhan AH06 18x9 +30 5x100 in Bronze wrapped in hankook ventus s1 noble 2, also new. TPMS Sensors inside as well. Decided I don't really like how these fit. They "fit," but are a bit too poke-y for me and require a lot of suspension change. asking SOLD $1300SOLD , setup bought new online is almost $1600 Will consider trades as well
  11. Seconded on the pre-filter. I had this issue and installing an Injen one off Amazon fixed it for me.
  12. I bought CF fog light covers from them early this year. Took a month with no communication but they just showed up one day. Pretty crap product, had some defects and the tabs were so poorly made I couldn't get it to fit in my bumper.
  13. Yeah I have Fortune coilovers with about a finger gap and never have had an issue. Full exhaust too but they've never said anything. The thing about the downpipe is that it has the bulge where the cat was. The previous owner deleted it somehow. but visually if you were to look from the engine bay you would see a cat from the outside. So really the guy is correct that I have no cat, but it looks like I do. I have an old Cobb DP with a cat that I'll throw on to make sure I can pass. And before anyone says anything, I would much rather not be catless. I'm sick of the stench and the pollution. unfortunately my car loses so much oil into the exhaust that I'd probably destroy a cat long-term. I thought I'd be rebuilding the engine by now so I would stop burning oil but 4 years later and she still runs strong...
  14. I live in MA which probably has some of the the most strict inspection testing outside of California, or so I hear. Yesterday I failed inspection because the shop couldn't get the emissions tool to make a connection via the OBDII port. Anyone ever had this happen? Car is an 09 lgt and connects fine to a cheap code reader, access port, and my buddies fancy Snapon scanner tool. Seems to me like it must be an issue on their end. They also failed me for not seeing a cat in the stock location. My Perrin DP has it further up the pipe, but that's another problem....
