Got mine working. Did a couple of things. Re-did the installation as per qikslvr's instructions (which I'm pretty sure I had it installed correctly anyway), uninstalled RomRaider 0.5.1, and installed RomRaider 0.5.0 (went backwards one version). And this time, I installed by "right clicking the install file and running as administrator", since I have Vista. Not sure which one of these helped, I'm pretty sure it was the version of RomRaider. I bet the 0.5.1 would work, but I may have botched the installation somehow. It never stated "Trying to connect to ECU" when I opened the logger. It would just always say "Stopped". Either way. Another success story. Got this one from eBay and not Autonostics. $20 datalogging cable? Thank you very much.

Yeah, I can't even get mine to connect to romraider at all. Cable installed fine using the FTDI driver supplied. Shows up in device manager as COM4 or COM5 depending on usb port. Set baud rate to 4800 and 2400. Nothing. Three possible issues: I'm running Vista. I have ecuExploroer, AccessTuner installed. I installed a driver trying to get Cobb cable to run on ecuExplorer. Think any of these things are messing with me?

It appears autonostics is sold out of this item (according to their site). This may be why some of you are having issues with receiving your cable? Well apparently this is a Hong Kong item, cause they're all over eBay. I found this guy selling them from the USA, states 2-5 days shipping from MA. I'm gonna give it a shot and order one.
