  1. cBax what mount did you get? I don't see any mounts for the 5EAT on perrins site. My stock mount is starting to wear out. I do have a insert but the factory rubber is just old and cracking.
  2. 90k on my original tranny. Only mod is hexmods valve body and so far continues to operate ok. No slipping or banging of gears. Been on dom 3 for the past 2 years. Later spool I'm sure is helping the transmission survive.
  3. Very nice work. I've been thinking about tearing into my transmission for a while now as I rarely drive the car anymore. Any special tools required once inside the transmission?
  4. If keeping the stock tmic and upping the boost you have 2 choices. Either bulletproof your stock one. Barmanbean can help you with that or replace it. The stock endtanks are known to come off or start leaking under added boost. As for the EBCS. My tuner prefer's to have them vs the stock unit. Makes tuning easier for him. If you can swing the extra cash I'd put one on and will only make things easier when you do go with the 20g.
  5. Thanks for the info. I'm probably never getting to that power level but glad to hear they think the transmission is capable of handling the power. You say programming the transmission, are you meaning through the tcu or with the actual upgrades in the transmission?
  6. I too have looked into Level 10 for my trans build. Let us know how it works out. They say on there site the 5EAT built can take 700hp but maybe they offer additional upgrades to get you to that 1100hp. Good luck and keep us informed.
  7. There is a blue t between the intake manifold and intercooler. It is a very common part to come off. It does not have any rips so the hose slips off easily. There is a metal replacement one that has ripped barbs that works much better and I have never blown one off. I'd check that first.
  8. There is a little bit more noise transferred into the cabin. My car is far from stock so its hard to hear all the noises over the exhaust but I did notice a slight increase in noise and a little vibration. On a stock exhaust car you may notice it more. I think it was worth the noise. It tightened up the feel of the transmission a good bit.
  9. I have one installed. What was your question?
  10. Awesome just waiting on my molex connector which should be here today and I'll be set to go. Also I'm guessing the rca nav cable you made is just from any female rca cable cut off or did the camera kit come with that rca cable already cut?
  11. I plan on testing everything first before I button everything back up. Hows it been working for you? Any issues? I'm going to work on the install this weekend hopefully. If I get some free time.
  12. Do you think by adding a rca splitter before your nav connector will cause a issue. I've got the camera and have the jdm radio setup so I was thinking of hooking it up so both screens with turn on with the back up camera. Not really needed but figured why not.
  13. Do you happen to have the part number for the camera? Or model number?
  14. Very nice setup. I've been thinking about adding a backup camera to my factory nav for a bit. I guess I could even add a y to the rca and connect it to my factory nav and also my pioneer nav for the radio to have two rear views.
