  1. Install is finished, and everything works great!! Definitely impressed with the design and and hardware in this mod. In my opinion, way easier than using a blank CD. My install is pretty much identical to angeltalin's in switch and audio placement. Works as advertised, with no problems to speak of. The most difficult part was actually finding the 20mm drill bit. Went to 5 different stores, not a one carried any metric bits. Ended up using a 3/4" bit, then using a small sander to widen the hole. Not perfect or as clean as I would like it, but can't tell with the switch in, and it's tight, not going anywhere. And I must admit, it is a little intimidating removing that much of the interior and disassembling the radio (might have payed a guy to solder the wire... figured it was worth it to avoid destroying my radio), but it went back together with no problems whatsoever! Thanks to RedFloyd for a great product, and thanks to everybody on here for the advice and ideas.
  2. Perfect, guys, thanks for the help! Gonna install today, we'll see how it goes.
  3. Anyone know if there's a good walkthrough somewhere for removing the center console/trim pieces (basically from the radio back)? I've found ones for removing the radio itself, but can't seem to find a reliable one for removing the other pieces (for installing wiring back to the switch and iPod adapter cord). Getting this for Christmas, and I want to get ready for the install later this week. Thanks!
  4. That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the honest info!
  5. Mike, just to be clear, in your opinion, is it worth upgrading to this oil supply kit with the OEM turbo? It seems that if you have to use the OEM banjo bolt, it will be just as restrictive as with the OEM supply lines, but I don't know for sure, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
  6. About the meet next Wednesday, started a thread devoted to those Seattle meets so we don't hijack any other threads too badly. Head over here for more info/to let others know if you plan on coming. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/seattle-northgate-mall-subaru-meets-dec-5th-197166.html?p=4177916
  7. You're right! Thanks for letting me know. Sorry about that, I can't seem to get it to work either. Try the link here instead: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4173545&postcount=7681
  8. Just so people on this thread know, a few of us in the PNW Spotted Thread are thinking of heading to this Subaru meet next Wednesday at North Gate, just north of Seattle (link to info: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2409940). Anybody want to join? It'd be great to get some Legacys there! Date is next Wednesday, December 5th, at 6:30 pm. More info can be found in the link above.
