  1. Normally I am in North Austin, but have been in Baton Rouge, La. for the past month and will probably still be here for 2 or 3 more.
  2. Where abouts in Texas are you?
  3. 22-26 city depending on if i feel speed racer or not, and 28-33 highway. I just completed a 3,000 mile road trip. If I kept it between 75-79mph I avaraged 33 hwy, when I hooked up with some BMW's going between 85-110 mph my milage went down to 28mpg. I now have 4,700 miles on my car and have had my first oil change. I do not have a turbo car and have the 5mt transmission. All mpg was mostly without the ac on and using the cruse control as much as possible.
  4. Thank you so much, did this when I put my dash back together from radio install. I have started driving at night w/drl only on more then once since buying the car. Maybe if the dash lights didn't come on when the car is started I would notice immediatly. Whatever the case, THANK YOU.
  5. Newbie here, I just bought a 8AC Legacy Sedan i SE MT5 2.5 and am not too concerned about making any major mods, but I do have a concern about the factory anti-sway bars. I was talking to a fellow subie owner (05 sedan 2.5i) who had major problems with wind and tracking of the car. He replaced the factory rear anti-sway bar and mounting links, he said the factory bar was hollow and the mounting links where flimsy at best. My question, is the 08 non-turbo of the same level of componets? If so, then I will be replacing both anti-sway bars and links. I want this car for its relibality more then speed, but I also like a car that can corner well. Thank you for all input, and this forum is great. Lots of good useful information here.
