Well, finally caved and went to the dealer. They charged me $100 to update the firmware, but it fixed the problem.

Anyone have the files and willing to send them to me? 2015 Legacy Premium w/o Nav. Im having an issue where I have to re-pair my phone every time the car turns off. I want to replace the radio with an Android Auto unit but do not want to lose the integration with the rest of the car. Anyone know if the 2018 unit would work in a 2015 since the new one has Android Auto? Thanks
