  1. Does anyone know how long this 3m wrap lasts? How does it hold up to weather? Does it have to be replaced every # of years? I watched the video of the Ferrari being wrapped, the correct way to wrap would be to remove every body part ( fender, trunk etc. ) correct? Surprised how they just laid the wrap on and cut out holes for the headlights.
  2. I respectfully disagree with your statements. I'll leave the subject alone, I'd rather not start arguments. Thank you for the input.
  3. Having a FMIC where only 50% of the core is exposed seems to me a design flaw. The other 50% is serving what purpose? To solve it, obviously a new bumper is needed. You say the OEM TMIC is covered 80% or more, how did you come up with this? To reiterate, I'm not here to argue, just curious.
  4. My main concern with this setup is air infiltration. It seems a good 50% of the FMIC is covered by the bumper beam. Any thoughts or opinions on this?? This is where I mentioned on another thread that the 06/07 sti front bumper conversion would be a great idea as there is ALOT of room for a FMIC setup.
  5. From a safety standpoint I understand, I just never saw anyone on IWSTI that kept the bumper beam when going FMIC. Great design though, admire that you put in the time to develop one which retained the foglights and beam.
  6. What is the purpose of keeping the bumper beam when a FMIC is installed?? I am very weight conscious when it comes to modding my car. If I were to do a FMIC I would do away with the front bumper beam as the FMIC is only adding front end weight if the bumper beam is kept which does nothing for the understeer. FYI, I'm not bashing anyone or anything, just curious.
  7. I owned a 2005 OBP sti for about 2 years and according to iwsti members the transmission is not that reliable when it comes to hitting 500hp. I will more then likely go for 350hp on my LGT but want a transmission that is strong obviously. Wanted to get opinions and advice on other options then the sti transmission. Thanks
  8. Hola, I saw the answer to my question on the first page but would like to get more information. I have a 5EAT and would like to install a 6MT capable of 500hp+, is this possible? I did some research on the transmissions and had trouble finding anything. Thanks
