  1. Hello! I'm thinking to sell my 2011 LGT with 47225 miles. I live in Brazil and maybe I'll give a chance to a 2020 Equinox Premier. There are many SAFETY AND DRIVER ASSISTANCE FEATURES in Equinox that is not available in Forester (at least in Brazil). What do you guys think about this? I'd wait for a 2021 facelift, but due covid-19, I'd have to wait until 2022. Cheers
  2. Hello dgoodhue! I have a JDM model. Even if I have a USDM model, Cobb Ap is not a choice for me (too expensive). Anyway, I had an info from someone with a 2013 LGT that succesfully connected his TCU/ECU with FreSSM. I thought it wouldn't work because it uses ISO 14230 communication protocol (KWP2000) while 2011 and higher Subaru models uses ISO 15765-4 protocol. My VAG-COM is estimated to be delivered on April 20th, then I'll test it with FreeSSM ;-) Anyway, thanks for helping me ;-)
  3. Nice hearing that Obdlink is not compatible with BtSsm. Developer's site informs that R4 should work, but in practice, it's not true. BtSsm developer finally answered me. Unfortunately, BtSsm can not perform memory clear 2. Thanks for helping me!
  4. Hi Perscitus! I have an Obdlink MX Bluetooth but my hardware rev is 2.2/R3 (BtSsm requires R4). I’ve sent two emails to developer asking about a trial period to know if my Obdlink is really incompatible and with the following doubt: Does BtSsm perform a clear memory 2 (full TCU learned codes reset) or just memory clear (that does not reset learned codes)? I asked about trial period to test my Obdlink MX. If it doesn’t work, I’ll test with VAG-COM cable that is estimated to be delivered on April 20th. Unfortunately, I had no answer from developer. I’ve already payed U$11 for a cable that I think is incompatible with FreeSSM and I don’t pay more U$10 for BtSsm if it won’t work with my cable and BT device (that’s the reason I asked about a free trial). That is it! I appreciate your help. I’ve already considered BtSsm, but due a lack of answer from developer, I decided to find another way to access my ECU and TCU. Regards, Daniel
  5. Hello! I've ordered a VAG-Com Cable with FTDI chip to use FreeSSM. After some researches, I've found the following compatible models: Legacy®/Liberty®/Outback®/Baja®, Impreza® (incl. WRX + STi), Forester®, Exiga® and Tribeca® starting with model year 1999 up to model year 2009. Model year 2010 is already supported, too, but some Measuring Blocks may be missing and some Diagnostic Codes may not be displayed as plaintext. I'd like to know if someone with 2011 or higher LGT model could use FreeSSM succesfully. I've ordered a VAG-COM cable, but I think it won't work because FreeSSM uses ISO 14230 protocol (KWP2000) and 2011 and higher Subaru models uses ISO 15765-4 protocol (see Subaru bulletin on https://obdclearinghouse.com/Files/viewFile?fileID=1594)
  6. Hi Zee199969! I've sent a PM for you! I think your Box is full :-O Anyway, I see you've installed a Koyo VH091662 in the following link: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/did-you-do-your-5th-gen-todayii-v4-267765.html?p=5896685#post5896685) Could you tell me if you had any problem with clearence between Fan, hose or anything else? Can I use a stock hose? Installation is like replacing the stock rad by another identical? VH091662 is 20mm thicker than stock rad :-O I see some differences between your Koyo and the stock one. There are 2 tabs in the bottom of stock radiator that Koyo don't have (Koyo's bottom part just have points to install Fans and two pins..stock radiator have two tabs more. Stock rad can be seen in the following post: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthre...gt-276124.html I'd like to know if you bought Samco Hose because the original one could not be used. I live in Brazil and my 11 LGT is a JDM model. I think USDM and JDM use the same radiator, but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks for your help! PS: Sorry for my terrible english :-(
  7. Nice job! Could you tell me if you had any problem with clearence between Fan, hose or anything else? Can I use a stock hose? Installation is like replacing the stock rad by another stock one? I see some differences between your Koyo and the stock one. There are 2 attachments points in the bottom of stock radiator that Koyo don't have (Koyo's bottom part just have points to install Fans, nothing more) . Stock rad can be seen in the following post: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/another-all-aluminum-radiator-option-5th-gen-gt-276124.html I'd like to know if a lack of these 2 points is a problem with installation.
  8. Do you know if the following radiator can be used in a 2011 Legacy GT? https://www.mishimoto.eu/subaru-wrx-performance-aluminium-radiator-2015.html I don't wanna deal with any kind of mods...just replacing the original one for a full alluminum radiator. I realize that for a fifth gen, all dealers didn't provide a specific radiator :-(
