  1. i've having this problem now. squealing when i push the pedal in to disengage the clutch. combined with chattering.....
  2. Jeebus. I don't think I've sen one that bad. That snail takes the cake.
  3. subscribed. found out yesterday that the front right boot is torn. grease all over the downpipe. smells really "manly."
  4. unfortunately, that's not mine. it's from the OP. no idea if i have one in there or not. i did just replace the cabin filter in my wife's 09 forester yesterday. i'll save the tray to see if i can use it.
  5. i probably need a tray/cage to set the filter in. right? http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=940&d=1090687238
  6. LOL. that might be it. i have a filter ready to go. just need to pull it all apart. haven't read through all 300+ posts in the thread, but am REALLY looking forward to the retro fit.
  7. :ugh: i feel like firebombing someone's house for this! who'd the designer and who's the douche who allowed this to pass? took me 5-min to replace the cabin air filter in my wife's 09 forester. i THINK it might have taken 10-min with my 02 WRX and the wife's 03 Forester. now i have to rip apart the center console and dash to get to my filter?!
  8. the link is correct. the mod locked it and "deleted" it.
  9. What's our stock output? I can't remember off the top of my head. For that matter, what are numbers for a typical stage 2?
  10. i have this mod and it's been doing well so far. i dd my car and really don't do anything else with it. i had a problem with the end tank looking like it was beginning to separate. maybe i was wrong, but i wasn't willing to take the chance. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2620/5717221662_3a5b0d2f19_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2235/5716653149_2705a9d4e6_b.jpg i got worried and started looking around at options. a friend pointed me to the BP mod. when i crimped down the tabs, there was lots of movement. if nothing else, i have peace fo mind that i likely prevent something catastrophic from happening. the big pluses for me: 1. stock is good enough for me. i can't justify spending $600 on an upgraded TMIC for my type of driving. 2. the wife didn't bitch about the amount of money spent! would i like to have a sexy after-market TMIC that'd gain me a few extra horse? hellz yeah! but i also like having the money to spend on something else instead of on something i don't NEED. just my 2 cents.
