I have a friend who said he was planning on buying one for his shop (super rupair) - I'll give him a call this weekend and maybe I can snag it and take it back into town and we can just have a beer and do it together.
If not, I'll post up when I find someone and you do the same. I'm running my winter set-up now, so I'm not worried about rubbing with 215s - which gives me a few months to get this done!
anyone know of a good place to get my fenders rolled in Denver? I noticed a little rub action when I hit a big pothole downtown. And i'm definitely not comfortable doing it myself. I'm cool with leaving my car for the workday if necessary.
SUBA said they weren't comfortable doing it.
LONG DISTANCE SPOT!!!
MN plates, 05 or 06 RBP sedan w/ I think 18" gold wheels, lowered, no tints, but shaved badges driving outside of Boulder & Golden Colorado on route 93. I was the one that gave you a honk at the light and a wave.
hey tingtang,
nice to meet you this last weekend! haha, you had me freaked at first. I was asking myself "why is this guy asking me if this is my car?!?!"
you're lucky you didn't get me 5 mins later, I would have made you help me carry a desk out to the street.
i'd say i'd bring mine and we can send them off shopping for 10 hours.
but i now can't go, as of yesterday. we just got a new place and the "only time we can sign the lease is saturday at 9am." Not sure why that's the only appropriate time, but it stinks! Now someone else has to be the slowest person!
(But we really need a larger place, plus I get my own [detached] garage & and an 'office' now! We will soon be in Superior!)
Have fun guys!
TAKE PICTURES TOO!
I'm gonna have to talk to the lady. I know I can't make the august one, but if I can meet all my freelance deadlines this week, I can probably do the saturday meet/saturday camp!!
Does this mean I can bring my guitar and we can all sit around and sing songs around the campfire?!?!
^ not sure about a solid company to help you out. but if you do get a few hours off, maybe some extremely fine steel wool and some muscle might work....
(there's a post in the detailing section about how to clean exhaust tips... might help a bit!)
