  1. Something interesting to note, when I was doing my modulator install, I turned the car on without putting the headunit/ACC back in.. The ACC still came on and did it's ramping up of the fan since it was cold out. Makes you wonder where the real brains for the ACC are, maybe not in the headunit..
  2. BTW, I'll be in. It's a grand 40 minute commute from my place. If anyone needs suggestions on lodging, etc. I lived in West Lafayette for 6 years, and am very familiar with the central Indiana area (Indy, Kokomo, Lafayette)..
  3. For those of us who work for Subaru suppliers, is there a way for us to get a "special" tour that maybe might show more??
  4. Sorry Sube... I was referring to kelviny.. Yea, your's sounds like a definate malfunction.. Perhaps you developed a leak or low pressure condition which causes compressor overheating.. Hopefully the dealer gets it figured out..
  5. I believe we discussed this in a previous thread. The compressor cycles to prevent icing of the condensor coil. As the ambient temperature changes, the cycling rate changes as well.
