  1. It depends on a whole load of things; tire inflation, tire alignment, extra weight in the car, whether the road is wet or dry, air temperature, air humidity, gasoline blend (winter gas is less efficient), your particular state's blend, how much ethanol is in the gas (ethanol is bad for mileage, with 33% less energy per gallon), how much more power the engine can make than you need for cruising, minute differences in your car's manufacturing, how the car's been treated and cared for, how much is stop-and-go driving and how much is highway cruising, and probably biggest of all is driving style (for equal makes and models).
  2. I'm not voting in the poll because it says OEM computers only, which mine doesn't have. But I've kept track of almost every fill-up since 6.5 years and 107k miles ago. I haven't separated out city and highway mileage, so I'll just go with what I know was highway: On a trip across the country in 2009 (in the summer), I averaged 32 mpg on the way out, made some aerodynamic mods while there, and averaged 36 mpg on the way back. And this on a 4EAT transmission.
  3. I was just recently looking around on the web for what color my Subaru actually is. It's brown. None of those color names in the poll are code for "brown", are they?
