  1. mr. blue wrench; get yourself a $5 propane torch at home depot then spray, wait, heat, spray, wait heat, spray wait heat try it etc etc.. it'll either break free or break off... either way problem solved. new bolts can be had for cheap at the hardware store and like someone above said, get some anti-sieze... if using anti-sieze though i'd recommend a lock washer on the nut side.
  2. Just a thought (don't have an 08) on the contour groups we had the same issue and rather than snapping things apart we began to drill small holes the tabs where the amber was melted to the chrome until it seperated... creates lots of dust so you really have to clean up before you re seal 'em but much less chance of snapping things in half that you didn't mean to...

  4. Good advice, i did this on the last car i modded hit $40k. I have never thought of that car the same way since, totally took the joy out. I flat out refuse to ever do it again. Do it for the love of cars and motorsports, its financial stupidity.
