  1. So I was looking for a DIY on how to replace the fog light bulb and couldn't find it so i put together one. Have fun. Purchased replacement fog light bulb (H3s) from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006PIKZAQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - $12.95 1. Jack car up safely 2. Remove two clips on each side (Driver and Passenger) http://i.imgur.com/N2KD56j.jpg 3. Remove fog light housing clip http://i.imgur.com/bTitgXa.jpg 4. Remove cover by twisting counter-clockwise, then remove retaining clip on the bulb http://i.imgur.com/4p9GtMS.jpg 5. Remove the bulb then the bulb clip from the cover http://i.imgur.com/CFkYcVH.jpg 6. Install in reverse and you are good to go http://i.imgur.com/5y3YbaN.jpg
  2. I swapped my stock 05 LGT Wagon rear struts for the 08 Legacy 3.0R Bistein struts. Duffman this trick saved me...as I was ready to go to the shop then I found your write up. You the man. Proof again that the LGT community is pretty awesome.
  3. m sprank, thanks will try to get them off the old and onto the new one tomorrow. Didn't even think to try to pry them off.
  4. Recently my passenger axle broke and I was thinking if I can replace an axle on a civic, then the LGT should be just as easy. Well it sure was. I used the article below to help me (Thanks Inigo Montoya): http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/replace-rebuild-torn-cv-boot-and-axle-108975.html TIP: To separate the lower ball joint from the suspension arm, use some kind of an extension or socket (5/8) to wedge between it and the arm, then drop the arm really fast from the jack and it will slowly but surely separate it. http://i.imgur.com/w8WxgLR.jpg OLD vs [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Detroit-Axle-Complete-Lifetime-Warranty/dp/B01BPL94YU?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00]NEW axle[/ame] - $45.46 from amazon..what a great deal...drives like new http://i.imgur.com/Y3SwNrG.jpg The new axle looked different as it was missing the flat shields on both ends....still worked fine for me. I think it will leak a little bit of transmission fluid, but it is no biggie. I will periodically check and top off if needed. http://i.imgur.com/mTrgKDI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/hCHcnEs.jpg

  6. derffred, thank you for posting this. I actually used your post here to help me replace my front driver HBA yesterday. Thanks a bunch. TIP: Get slide hammer to pull out the HBA if it is stuck or rusted over. PB Blaster is your best friend. ***Fix for: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited 2.5 Turbo front wheel bearing*** Purchased: 1.
