  1. I don't know why I've read from a bunch of people that they don't like soldering. Soldering always makes the best connections, ones that don't jiggle loose and screw things up. I would really recommend learning how and getting good at it... its a really good skill to have.
  2. use the puddle light in conjunction with a relay. then it wouldn't add any extra current. Would be a lot of wiring, but way less than 700 bucks (or 200 bucks). Of course, if you screwed up the walkthrough, then I'm not sure how apt you would be for setting it up with a relay (no offense).
  3. Yup, I just started this mod, but couldn't find the box of connectors I swore I had, so I soldered it as well. Better connection anyways. Works great. I always hated pushing the button twice.
