  1. Hello Georgia folks! I've had my Legacy GT for a couple of months now, but just joined the forum today. I've had a couple of Subarus before- I'm "K. Marx" on wrxatlanta and go by "J. Steinbeck" on Nasioc as well. I'm looking forward to checking out yet another branch of the Subaru community.
  2. Nice write-up! Coming from the world of top feed injectors on 2.0 WRXs, I can't help but feel a little relief at seeing the ease of this process; Lord, how I hated dealing with the infamous GBODs on my other cars. No upgrades of this sort planned at the moment, though. Perhaps some day...
  3. Just wanted to give thanks for this thread. I referred to it when removing the filter from my 05 GT a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully the filter was spotless, but I chose not to reinstall it. The two filters on top of the heads had already been removed by the previous owner. The infamous dental floss trick was KEY in getting the crush washers back into place on the pre-turbo filter. I futzed around for twenty minutes trying to line the washers and bolt up, got frustrated, and pulled out the floss. I dangled the washer down from above and had it back together in less than five minutes after that. Turbo seems healthy, no shaft play. It's nice to drive the car without the ominous feeling that it might self destruct at any moment, lol.
