seeing as you can still shift on the stick which is what i prefer i might try this if i can get some help

So let me get this straight if i have a 05 legacy auto i can replace one side of the shifting controls and put the sound controls in or do i have to switch both?? And is there anyone in phoenix vincinty that has done this mod.. would love some help...
