  1. Yep, I remember the svt - sounded nice. My exhaust is the "ebay" xo2 racing catback - by far the best deal out there.
  2. If it was a wagon it was me. how noticeable was the exhaust? I've been debating sticking the stock mufflers back on to get back the sleeper factor.
  3. I wish I understood the running out of space better. It happened to me once - it seems to have something to do with how many cells you put numbers in vs. leave as 0's (a LOT of the cells in the stock/cobb maps are 0), but I don't know that for sure.
  4. Not sure about that, but you can run out of space on the base map and have to use the realtime map to fit in additional changes. As for driveability, ST is definitely the way to go if you have patience. A pro tuner in 45 minutes just can't do as much as tuning yourself over a period of weeks/months in a bunch of different conditions.
  5. the specs that came with my WB kit (bosch sensor) even state clearly that worst case, located in front of a turbo and exposed to all the high temps and pressures that it shouldn't be, it will still be reliable and accurate for 500 hours of use. Put it behind the turbo, and I agree it isn't worth worrying about, especially when its only $79 for a new one anyway.
  6. Let's see, we have two setups that will clearly never work (20g+TMIC+boost-a-pump on one hand and an upgraded turbo on stock fuel on the other, and as if that isn't enough they're both running WI which is very unreliable). I'm very worried that they'll both just blow up before they get to the end of the track. In fact I'm sure of it, since there are probably some reused gaskets and copper washers thrown in there... keep lots of fire extinguishers nearby!
  7. I'm curious too - having individual WGDC and target tables for each gear would be a nice way to go about it short of that it seems the WGDC table has to strike a compromise between building boost quickly (and getting enough of it) in lower gears vs. boost spiking in higher gears, but I've yet to see anyone use the low-speed table to adddress this. I'm not sure it will work since it's speed based - just where you want high boost in 2nd gear is probably where you'd also want less boost in 5th gear...
  8. Thanks for the update! I tuned my car for the PE850 injectors and started back when you only had the advertised latency values listed, so I'm very glad to see I wasn't way off base when I had to bump them up quite a bit to get the scalar value to make any sense.
  9. silver lgt wagon for the second day in a row at the san antonio/middlefield intersection in palo alto around 2pm - no acknowledgement though.
  10. It may have been me since I live in the area and drive that part of 101 a lot - I was driving north around 1-2 in the afternoon.
  11. One silver and one white lgt (both wagons) northbound on hwy 1 between 84 and pescadero road yesterday afternoon. One of them had a mountain bike up top.
  12. You guys must all be on the other side of the dumbarton, because I never see any GTs, let alone other ABP wagons, here on the peninsula. I've also got two bike trays on every once in awhile (though lately they've just been in the garage).
  13. I saw two LGTs (one silver wagon, one silver sedan) on san antonio road near 101 in palo alto today during lunch. Weird seeing two in five minutes, as I think I've only seen a handful in the last year.
