  1. ^It'll bolt right on quite easily once you have the supporting parts. You 05-07 guys have it easy! Look at post #426. W.K.S put together a nice list of what you'll need.

  3. No fogs required on the Rev.D, but everything else looks great. Nice work, that'll definitely help out both new and seasoned members of the forum. In regards to your last question, the best thing to do is to take a battery harness and use the OEM (USDM) plugs as your means to activate the relay. The other (the wires that run to the headlights) terminals can then be modified to include the JDM plugs. This method requires more work, but the overall result is much cleaner. You could easily permanently modify your stock wiring to work with the JDM lights. But doing this will make life difficult if you ever want or need to go back to a USDM setup. The other part that requires thinking is the parking light and turn signal. On the JDM light they're different bulbs, but the USDM turning/parking light socket is integrated into one plug. Easiest thing to do here is to use the USDM plug as it is, but solder new wiring to the terminals where the bulb would sit. This requires a steady hand, as there is visually no space to work with. But, your parking light and turn signals would function as they would on the stock car. If you ever want to go back to a USDM setup, all you need to do is source a new turn signal/parking light socket.
  4. No bracket needed on the 08-09 for the fogs. Stock fogs will work. Be sure to distinguish the 'bumper brackets' as there's two sets. One for the headlights and the side bracket that holds in the bumper to the fender. The latter of the two brackets may or may not carry over from the USDM bumper. They're dirt cheap, so one might as well pick them up just to be safe. If you really want to be complete with the install, you'll need a headlight leveling switch and the plugs that attach to the leveling motor. The plugs can be purchased from a Toyota or Lexus dealer. You'll need a way to rig the stock headlight system to the JDM lights, as the harness and bulbs are different. The JDM has a separate parking light bulb whereas the USDM parking light is integrated with the turn signal bulb.

  6. ^very nice so far! I was looking into this about 3 years ago, but I could never find a source for an Ivory console. I couldn't find a LHD automatic shift console either
  7. those pic of wheels on 2010 legacy looks niceeeee
  8. LOL, you actually say it like it has french accents on both the e's. Ed, goodluck!
  9. Also, try the Japanese auction sites like Yahoo Auctions Japan.. I've seen some S402 parts there, such as complete exhaust systems. Though, you're going to have to figure out all the shipping logistics yourself, and either find a friend to translate for you, or learn to read and write Japanese.
  10. In terms of bodywork, the 05 or 08 will suffice - you're going to be changing the entire front end (headlights, bumper, grill) anyways if you want the Rev D bumper to go on. The thing is that if you aren't able to source S402 fenders - which I've found to be pretty much impossible to this point - you wouldn have to purchase new fenders to accomodate the 08 style lights. The big issue is finding an S402 owner that'll play ball and help you out in by ordering parts on your behalf. The issue is that there are only 402 owners (obviously haha), virtually all who are located in Japan. Plus there's the language barrier. You'd also need one who is on online forums too (to get in contact). A bunch of factors need to line up, though, if you throw enough money on the table, anything is possible. I personally wouldve opted for the 08, though being unable to get financing would throw a wrench in that. Make sure you've got a nice stack of money lined up too, like everyone has said.
  11. Looks great, but I think the JDM rear would look a lot better with a wingless trunk, or maybe just a small lip spoiler. The OEM spoiler give it an odd looking side profile in terms of proportions. Nonetheless, great looking car. Lets see some pics after the paint
  12. JDM HIDs it is. I look forward to seeing the rest of the install pics. Hopefully once I get my JDM bumper on I can start to source the items I need for this install
