  1. Just wanted to add: I track tested this kit for the original developer (SeeYah). 19-20psi at all numerous Socal tracks over a year (13 trackdays). Putting +100miles in per trackday. I had the VF52 and had no issues with this kit (assuming the design is still the same) coming undone. I did use zip-ties once and lost one of the channels, but after properly installing the required hardware I never encountered an issue ever again. Hope that quells any questions of this kit's reliability beyond street driving fun.
  2. Welcome to the "Had a legacy, now I have a Miata" club
  3. I've been running this kit for well over a year. I have done >10 trackdays at 18 and 20 psi on it. It has and still is holding strong. Highly recommended if you want to run >18psi on the stock TMIC without issues.
  4. Crapton more trackdays at 20psi. Holding like a champ. Nuff said!
  5. More updates! I've done Willow Springs (WSIR) and Streets of Willow (SOW) with this mod. I peak at 20psi and taper off at 15psi on my VF52. I logged 80miles of racing at SOW and 120miles at WSIR. This thing held up like a champ and I suffered no heatsoak issues since you're constantly moving at the track. This thing serves its purpose as being a cheap alternative to an aftermarket TMIC that doesn't spit at boost levels greater than 18psi and also overachieves by being able to handle the long duration, multiple cycles of repeated boost. For those contemplating this mod, do so in confidence.
  6. I have been running this mod for quite awhile now and it has held up to more than 5 trackdays at 17psi on the VF40. I have since upgraded to a VF52 and am running ~20psi now. I have a trackday coming up, as well as many more. This will be a great test of this mod as to how well it holds the endtanks hold together, especially since im exceeding the limit by a couple psi and will be doing it for 5x 20min sessions -- thats alot of hitting peak boost.
  7. With the mods you have, you should be trapping faster than 98mph. I was doing 101mph with only a DP/UP and Cobb OTS Stg2 map.
  8. I have 245/35/18 on a 8in wide wheel. Offset is 51 and they fit both front and rear w/no fender rubbage or roll either, granted the car is only lowered an inch or so. I had 225/40/18 RE01s recently and these are waaay wider. I need to post pix of the size difference.
  9. You guys have me curious what i would run out here (Haven't dragged since moving from Ohio). I might have to go on a trek with you guys one day. Tell me one thing. Do you guys get alot of runs? I'm used to getting 8-10 runs for $15bux. I'm all bout the runs/dollar value When I lived in Ohio my best run at KilKare speedway was: 13.4 @ 101.4mph 60ft 1.8252 1/8 8.6280 @ 81.24mph Mods at the time. MR Downpipe ERZ UP Cobb AP OTS Stg 2 map ACT street/strip disc/HD Plate/LWFW MR Coilovers 6/8 spring rates 18x8 SSR Comps with BFG KD tires (225/40/18) I don't think sways, and strut bars would matter so I won't post those. The rest of the night was 13.5s @ 100-101
  10. Whoa that is huge!! I can barely see the sticker does it say 225/40/18?
  11. Franz, What size tires are you running?
  12. What's up Saul, that looks like a fun track day. What kind of camera mount are you using? I'll try to come watch next time since my car's in the shop for awhile.
  13. Forgot. Here's a vid from Dec 12th at Streets of Willow.
