Very cool, now all we need is some posts and subjects to roll with.

Hey whats a good figure dollar wise to expect from getting the heads resurfaced for a head gasket change?

Its hard to say how much it could cost to machine the heads. Its one of those things you gotta get a couple estimates for. If you're interested, here's some info about it.

If the heads are flat resurfacing shouldn't be required. If it is, you would have to take a look at the block too. A good 3 angle valve job would probably be all the head work you would need.

As for valves, I'll need to do some more searching, but I think I can find some prices with enough digging.

I agree that a good 3 angle valve job would be sufficient. resurfacing/shaving heads might result in intake alignment problems. - For a new topic, I have heard that SOHC 2.5 cams can be installed in the 2.2 to get approximately the same performance results as Delta regrinds, - is this true?
