I've tried to turn off instant email notif of new replies in subscibed threads three times. It ain't happenin'. Whats up?

This latest version of vB features numerous "social networking" tools. Your friends list is kinda like your buddy list (which still exists on the home page) but it requires the other party to approve your e-friendship. It's also public so anyone who looks at your profile page can see it and likewise you can see who's been to your profile page.

WTF is a "Friend" request, Gumby? Do I get to pick up teenage girls this way?
