Summery: You can get Legacy and STi for $500 over invoice!

Word of warning: Steven's Creek is infamous for jackass salesmen and pressuring you into buying a car. So take their offer at your own risk. As for me, I'm still debating...$500 over invoice is not bad, but Steven's Creek...

Drive an other half hour to Santa Cruz Subaru. I got my Forester there for $201 over invoice last year. They have a well deserved rep for being purely customer service oriented. A lot of extras like free oil changes were included as well.

Sorry, forgot that not everyone lives in Northern California

From what I've been reading, STi are going for MSRP and the Legacy has been going around invoice + 1k. So this might be a deal for someone who can afford a legacy now

I also got a great deal at Santa Cruz. It's a no nonsense dealership. Go to Stevens Creek at your own risk.

Santa Cruz is $1K over invoice for the Legacy GT -- at least when I placed my order a few weeks back.

$500 over invoice is tempting, but it is Stevens Creek... The salespeople are old school and they will take out any vehicle on their lot for test drives. I'd be worried if the vehicle they sell you has more than 10 miles on the odo.

Over at Santa Cruz, they only let you test drive their demo car.

Now if the spread was more like $1K, then I'd start thinking.

And they won't let you take it over 4000 rpm if it has less than 1000 miles on it.
