Hello everyone!

I am scheduled to get my first tune on my '05 LGT Wagon next week at PDX (driving down from Seattle). I am so anxious to see what kind of gains I will see!

I have done several performance mods that I am hoping the tune will help smooth it all out.

-Unequal Lenght Headers
-Catless UP
-HiFlow Catted TB system
-Drop in Panel Filter
-STS

What kind of gains should I expect to see? I have been running stage 2 on my AP v.1 for a while and have not been too happy with it. The car studders a bit under load and just does not feel clean/smooth. I have been lurking on this section for a while now and I am pretty sure I will be super stoked on the trip!

Thanks in advance for your advice!

A dyno tune is always better than an off the shelf map or an email tune. Always. Being able to monitor AFR, boost, IDC, etc is the only way to go.

What is STS?

STS short throw shifter should get you around 15 more HP.;)

What day you going? I plan on being there for other reasons early next week. It would be nice to meet a fellow PNWER from a little further north.

Hahaha! I almost didn't put the STS on the list.

I am going to be there Saturday (7/12). I work for a small company and so getting away during the week is hard to do.

Stuttering under load...do you ever get any misfire codes?

The stutter is hardly noticable (the lady doesn't notice it) but I feel it. No codes thrown.

Jarrad and his crew are good peeps. He comes to Hawaii every so often to tune some of the local Subies. The Cobb OTS maps are very safe. Being that I live in Hawaii, there are no "on-island" tuners that can protune, so going with an AP was a given. The map served me well for a few weeks until Jarrad flew in to work his magic. Just as an example, I gained over 30hp and 30ft/lbs of torque (IIRC) over my Cobb OTS map on my VF34'd WRX wagon. Not to mention that the car ran smoother and pulled harder. I was very pleased. +1 for PDX Tuning.

Bran and everyone, thanks for the info! I got my GT dyno tuned on on Saturday and it was awesome! Jarrad is a true master of his trade and his knowledge of Subaru's was very helpful. My roommate and I kept asking him questions and he answered everyone. I got to test my new tune out on the drive back to Seattle, and I was smiling the whole way home! A special thank you to Jarrad for working with me on a Saturday and for doing outstanding work! It is like a new car!!
