Yep...I'm up in NOVA. I really haven't seen very many LGT's. Seeing more lately, but still not as many as I thought I would. What's the Subie population like down there.

On my commute to work I drive south down Belmont Ridge Road (from Leesburg) toward the Toll Road. I always see a white LGT Wagon. Anyone's ride on this forum?

That would be me. I live in Leesburg and commute to work on Rt7. Do you have a silver Legacy sedan? I am fairly observant of other cars when driving and havent noticed many new Legacies in the area.
Hmmm......I live in Leesburg and commute to Herndon on Rt7, sometimes the Greenway and sometime down Belmont Ridge. I never see any of ya, but I do see a few STi's

I drive a white LGT Sedan and take Waxpool or Rte 7 depending on traffic. I saw someone else posted that they work off of Ridgetop Circle, and so do I but I don't think I have seen your car. I have only seen a couple of other ones out there. On a recent trip to FL (driving) I only spotted 1 '05 Legacy.
I'll be sure to wave if I spot anyone :)

WhiteWagon - I don't own a Legacy yet. I had a bit of a kink in my plan when my wife told me she was pregnant. We used the money intended for my new car to buy a new Highlander for her. If all goes well, I should be getting an LGT some time next Spring.
I have a silver Integra. Next time I see you on Belmont, I'll give you a quick honk. Your ride is sweet.
I don't see many LGT's either. When I come off Rivercreek Parkway onto Rt 7, I usually see an Atlantic Blue LGT sedan....that's about it.

I spotted 2 Legacys on my drive home this evening down Rte 7 West. One Silver, not an LGT, and another not sure what color with a wing. I have seen several every time I've gone out to the Leesburg area.
Looks like Subaru sales are up...

Guys, how bad is the clutch stink issue? After reading all the posts, I'm wondering whether or not this is a good car for me seeing as how I live in NOVA and spend a great deal of time in traffic.

No biggie..here..
Slap it in neutral when you can..
Traffic in Richmond? Ha!! ;)
If you spend alot of time in bumper to bumper, you might have issues. Whenever I get stuck for more than a few minutes, it creeps up. Obviously, being delicate on the pedal and not riding the clutch at all is the key, but sometime it's inevitable in NoVa traffic.
Knowing about the issue beforehand and living in NoVa, I would still have bought the car.

However, I do run to NoVA a couple times a month, and drive thru Centreville. Does that count?

Mine is white, with spoiler, non-limited. Besides the car, you can spot me with my Virginia Tech themed plates, as I'm actually a Tech alum (May '04), despite my new residence in Wahooville.
You can usually find me on 29, if anywhere. I live and work directly off of it.
Who is the other white one besides me? I think I missed that part... :p

Richmond and Midlothian here. Used to commute N 288 to Innsbrook Glen Allen area, but just changed jobs. Now only 11 minutes away from my house. I hardly get out of third gear! Still make the run up 288 on Tuesday and Thurs nites and early Mon. mornings. Also spend weekends down in Norfolk and P-town hanging out on the boat.
Good to see some other enthusiasts here. I've only seen one GT on 95N- nice looking red sedan. I was in my other car of course.
Looking for a good shop in the area for some installations. I know a couple good ones in MD, but haven't heard of any down here. Post back or PM with any suggestions.
Cheers.

Must be, because this one was a limited and was extremely clean. So now we have a 1 red, 2 silvers (1 is mine) and 2 whites. That's a lot of LGT's in one area. Problem is I've only seen the red (parked) and this white one (parked).

I work at Republic Plaza on Main street and I get off the 118B exit (from 64) and go past Fontaine Research turn on to JPA (corner of Durty Nelly's Pub), cut through the neighbor"hood" (Cherry Ave) and come up 10th street, turn on to main and shoot into work. Rarely on 29 north...

Wow! Been checking out this forum for 2 weeks now, and completely forgot to look for my local area. So, just saying hello to all you VA GTs out there! I got my LGT about 3 weeks ago and am loving every second of it. Can you believe I traded in my WRX for it? Gotta love those boxer engines :D. My daily commute is from Reston to Herndon, which takes a whopping 10min. So, I tend to hit up some back roads after work to give my baby some exercise. Well, that is me. I hope to attend some upcoming events. Very sad that I missed the dyno day this past weekend. I really want to have my base line DG before slapping on the mods. Gotta keep up with those STIs ;)
Peace,
Jake

welcome to the forum! It shoudlnt be too long until the next dyno day, i'll probably go back just for the hell of it.
I know what you mean about taking the back roads though --- when i got my lgt I was adding in almost an hour to my commute time each day so that i could take the "scenic" route. Gotta rack those first 1000 miles on there quick so you can start adding the mods and begin pushing it a bit more.
Reston to Herndon? Walk. :D
Jake - what LGT did you buy? I work off Herndon Pkwy and Spring St, so I am sure I will pass you at some point. :D

Ha! That would be nice, but soon I will be working nights and wouldn't want to be walking around then.
So, I got me a Dark Blue (Atlantic?) LGT (non limited). I work on Spring St, not far from Herndon Pkwy. Where Spring merges with Van Buren St. LegacyGT take-over in Herdon!! Watch out :)
