I can. I did tell you I went to colledge in Japan didn't I? What do you want translated?
Oh..the dealer was realy cool. When you go into a Japanese dealership they sit you down and the receptionist brings you coffee and snacks. When I was there last year, there where only 30 left in the country for sale out of 400.

Don't need any translation, just nice to read some stuff sometimes when you're browsing.

Ah it all makes sense now. You went to college in Japan and have become a Japanese elitist!

Not an elitist... If I was an elitist I would be driving a Z or G35..or Lexus... instead I have RX8 and will get rid of that for my Legacy...
But, I do like my Japanese enginering. What can I say..they make cool stuff.
Plus, if you go to a Japanese car plant in Japan...and you see how awsome it is compared to a Ford or GM plant here... You would never drive a American car again...

Sounds cool B4, I'd love to visit Japan. You're right about Japanese engineering. Did you drive the car? What was it like? If you've driven the new Legacy already, how do they compare? Also, what do you think of the RX8?

I have had a my RX8 since August. It was the third one in Richmond Va, I have one that was offerd the buy back program. So it has free maintaince. The 8 is realy expensive. Great car but..it only gets 13 miles to the gallon.. Insurance is a champ..and maintaince is expensive. 18 inch RE040's with a 140 tread wear... price four of those out..
But, it has features that the Legacy doesn't and the new rotary is great. I just need to save a little change both on the payment, insurance and gas. So 33k RX8 VS 28K Legacy. I will get another one when they supercharge it. But for now I am looking forward to the Legacy I have 14k miles on my RX8 and I will sell it and get as much money as I can back why the re-sell is still high.

Elitist! I know Japanese enginerring is a marvel, but I wasn't questioning that. I'm just poking fun at your fear of SOA manufacturing. Maybe you should go visit the Indiana plant?

I wonder if Sube555 will take me! I wonder how he arranged that. I know the Subaru parts rep here for our area..and he wasn't even allowed into the Indiana plant..
Cool stuff!

Go to the Edmunds.com forums, go under the Subaru section and search for SIA Tour. There may still be time to fit in. I'd have to check with my rep. Yes, it's not a normal tour, something set up by SoA for a select group of devoted enthusiasts, but it's not limited to just the people who were at Detroit and Vegas.

Looks like it will be delayed to August/Sept due to some unforsee delays with SIA as I'm told. I'll let the Legacy guys around here know ASAP though. Good thing several of us will have the new GT's in time to bring them along. :)

I have one of the BE/BH Hyper Rev magazines, They are pretty cool (I have two Impreza ones too). They also have some stuff on gen 1 and gen 2 Legacy's.
The BE/BH 3rd gen are the best!
