LOL, that's Bleuquila's (from Cobb's WRXforum) boyfriend's car. Mine will look almost the same, less the limited gear. ;)

First for me.. That moonroof is absolutely gorgeous. I also really haven't found a color that I DON'T like, they are all awsome!

Opposite of the past. To me finding a USDM color that looks good in the BE/BH and many of the BD/BG models has been pretty hard to me. Probably why I had my car repainted a different color when I had the dings, dents, and scratches repaired a few years ago on my GT to get rid of the hideous Black Cherry.

Yup, that's basically it except for the color... that's why I am so interested in that thread. The guy seems absolutely thrilled with it.. I am so excited to get my car.

I saw the Atlantic Blue at my dealership yesterday, I will no longer be getting silver.

It does look very nice now doesn't it Gumby. I was sold on the silver until I saw AB also. Not that silver is a bad choice, AB is just so unique.

Kevin
Why are you jealous? Because he has one and you don't, or because you are getting silver?
I figured it's just because you want one as bad as the rest of us who have ordered already.

Yep, because I don't have mine yet. I love the silver, because everything blends in for this lovely monochromatic feel from the lights, etc. The AB is a nice color, just not for me.
July seems SO far off.

gtguy, just to rub it in, I pick up my Silver GT wagon, 5 speed next Tuesday.... nanner, nanner, nahnah. j/k
Before I went through the negotiation process (a cordial but silly process where the 6 month pregnant rep had to keep running back and forth to her manager) I took a GT Ltd sedan auto for a spin today and I am convinced you will luv the upgrade from your WRX wagon. I have to admit I was tempted by the Ltd wagon but couldn't get past the price tag for stuff I don't really need...but, the desire was definitely there. The auto is excellent but it is still an auto and can be tripped up on occasion. I prefer to be in control...I admit I have issues.

Grrrr! Good, you will be one of the people who will be able to solve the whole climate control thing. A guy in Pittsburgh posted that both non-Limited GTs on his dealer's lot had the automatic/dual zone climate control, despite information that we all have to the contrary.
Congrats on the wagon. My negotiation process was simple. "Hi, Dan...here's the invoice price, let's find a number that will make us both happy." We did, and off we go. The whole deal took about 30 seconds.

I'm in Canada and negotiation is a bit different since we don't have legislation like the US where the invoice price is freely available and commonly known. You can find the cost if you pay for it or infer from the US cost / MSRP % differential. Reps stare blankly at me when I tell them what the dealer paid for the car.
Anyway, I can confirm that, in Canada, sedan & wagon, GT and Ltd. get, as quoted from the Subaru brochure, "Climate control:Automatic, dual zone". Sorry, can't confirm for the US.

That AB is gorgeous, and that moonroof is looking better and better. A baseline run on a dyno would be absolutely awesome.
Sube, I love the black cherry. I guess we all have different tastes.

I am not going to hold my breath for this one.. although it would be some awesome info for someone who is going to take delivery in a month and a half.

What about break-in? Wouldn't we have to wait for people to properly break in their engines?
SUBE555
06-03-2004, 12:46 PM
Once they are broken in we can get dyno runs.
I anticipate I'll have nearly half my break-in done in one weekend just traveling around the state showing it off. God knows I can't stay out of that extra 2500rpm for that long!

This is true.. but you would think that someone is in the know with this new GT version.. there has to be one car out there that has been broken in.. get that thing on a dyno already!

The question is, who is it, and where is it? You'll likely never find out so we'll have to wait till someone from either here or NASIOC does some dyno runs.
