HELP: need driver's door handle/lock for 1991 Legacy L Wagon

The lock on the driver's door of 1991 Legacy L Wagon was cut out by thieves. Need to replace it. Any clues as to where I can get one cheap?

I'd try subaruparts.com if you need a new one, or a junkyard in your area if you need something cheaper.

Did they destroy the door skin? A dealer could get you the right lock to match. Unless you're lottery-winner lucky, you'll need to get both door locks from a junkyard and then still use the old key for the ignition. I think locksmiths can rebiuld a lock to fit your old key, but it is probably more than a new one from a dealer.

I have a 92 Parts car, but the best thing would be to get the lock fixed at the dealer, it would suck to use one key for the drivers door, one key for the passenger door, one key for the trunk, and one to start.
