Well, that's two more LGT's than I've seen on the road so far :)
Anyway, anyone have suggestions for a good performance shop to do installs and tuning and such?

I would like to move to AZ someday. My g/f and I will be taking trip to AZ this summer to see if we like it. We just can't stand the North East anymore.

If you do go .. I'd suggest September .. unless you want a taste on how our summers are ... but its really only 3 months out of the year that its hot .. I love it here .. and I am from Alaska.

Thats not true. I was here last year at that time of year and decided to buy my house. But I am odd I guess or just tired of seeing clouds like in WA.
Oh yeah, I am in Avondale in West Valley.
If anyone in AZ needs paint or headlight protection kits installed just let us know. We would be glad to help out.

My girl friend and I will be taking a trip to Arizona this spring to check out the state and see if we would like to live there someday. We are in New Jersey now. We will be checking out, Chandler, Scottsdale, Tuscon, Yuma, Lake Haveseau, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Phoenix on our 7 day trip. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I would also check out the surprise and avondale area .. they are building new communities like crazy and houses are cheap there ... If you are driving up from Phoenix to Flagstaff, I would take the route up through Sedona to Flagstaff .. beautiful drive.

I might spot you in Chandler maybe, I have friends that live down that way. Peoria where I live is northwest just outside of Phoenix.

Are you trying to say my house is cheap *cough* LOL. Actually they are building a ton of houses out here on the West side of Phoenix for those interested.

i don't want to associate with the civic riffraff. i'm kidding, my last car was an accord. seriously though, i thought it would be cooler if we could all meet up and help each other wash/wax/shine or something along those lines. although, a meet-in-the-parking-lot-and-go-for-a-beer would be fine too.
let me know if you're interested and we can set something up.

Sure .. that sounds fine to me, so I take it you traded in your accord .. I still have mine .. just washed it today. Here is a pic ...

btw, I don't know if it will happen this weekend or not. But my buddy and I might put my springs on my car, so if we do your more than welcome to stop by and say hi. I can give you directions if we do end up doing it this weekend.

Good to see there are some folks out in my area. I'm out in Surprise, and am thinking about getting the lgt with trading in my '00 Maxima. Anthony, my wife and I did the same thing last year. We were looking for a change, we came out in July to check out the area. Yes it was HOT, but do-able. We bought a house while we were here. We went back to NH, put the house on the market and started packing. We moved out here in November, and got into our new house in January.
So far we love it, and I'll deal with the heat by sitting in my new pool.
You guys who bought legacy, what dealership did you buy from? I've been talking with the internet sales guy at Avondale Subaru. He seems reasonable.

I said this in another thread, but I was really happy with Ray Bentley at Pitre Subaru. Pitre has the best rating for Subaru dealers in this area. They may not have the lowest price though, so do some shopping if you're concerned about $100-200.

If you are talking with Jon over there. I would say he is a great guy. Been very helpful to me and a lot of subaru owners in the area from what I hear. I cant comment on Pitre since I dont do business with them as of yet, but Avondale is down the street from my house.
Congrats on the move and possible new car. We just moved here in Feb ourselves. You will find two Subaru's in our garage.

Got my GT from the new dealership at the old Bell location. Gave me a decent price on my trade (newer truck, without having it there), the salesman drove back with me to pick up the trade in.
