View Full Version : Tshirt updates
We're starting to run low on the T-Shirts and I'd like to get the rest out the door while we start working on a newer, better, design.
T-Shirts are now sent boxed 2-Day Priority Mail (in most cases) and ship with 2 free stickers, all for $15-$16.
Yes Jedi, I will be ordering OutbackXT.com Stickers & Hats once I have a design. :)

Sweet! There are fonts for the various models that someone linked to- http://www.logos.subaru.com/ If you want them spiffed up, ask me or maybe Red Beast, although I've seen his work

Sign me up for Outback XT - also "Wagons Rule" would not be bad.

How about Wagon>*
I don't want something gay on it like "Wagon Powaaaah".
a shirt design contest or something could be fun. no reason to not let people submit ideas.

I saw a sticker somewhere online that said "you just got beat by a wagon" That would be funny on a plate frame for the GT wagon owners and OB owners here.
mmm def

Jedimaster has that plate frame.

That is the one I think I saw, thought it was a sticker, but I was wrong...that plate frame is perfect...and on Jedi's car, I now know what it will look like on my car, since we have the same color OBXT. Thanks for the pic link

Decals and plates
I would love to have a sticker or shirt that said:
---Subaru---
All We'll Drive
or
---Legacy---
All We'll Drive
What do you guys think? I emailed the rallydecals guy and IM'd Tide but haven't heard back on either.

Oh shit- nice one! If you don't hear back I'll have some made up
I think its a great idea, just needs a good illustrator to make it work. :)

Well the rallydecals guy hasn't responded, so if anyone has the desire/ability to make these, contact me as I have a few ideas.

If we need some print-ready files, lemme know. My fiance runs the preflight group of a commercial magazine printer and has a fine arts background - she can knock something cool out in about two minutes. She will think I am a geek for asking her, but hey - I'll 'take one for the team', so to speak. ;)

This might be a bit bold for the new kid, but here's an idea for the Outback XT logo. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd love to hear your thoughts, and this is just my first thought on the logo.
The logo's modeled after my black 2.5 XT, which has been a blast in the northern Minnesota winter. On snow days the 4 mile drive home can take two hours. :)

I think something like that with a side view would be cool. Then you could make a Outback wagon and Outback sedan with Outback XT.com under it. Also you could make Legacy GT wagon and Legacy GT sedan with Legacy GT.com under it. I would buy the Legacy GT wagon in a side view for sure.
Yeah if you could try one Outback with OutbackXT.com under it, I'd love to see it.

Here's a rough draft of the side view... it feels like it's missing something. Any suggestions? I also added "2.5 XT" to the front view.
I'm psyched you all liked the first idea. Keep the suggestions coming, I'm definitely open to changes and new ideas.

Ok, one more... I didn't see the request to have the OutbackXT.com text on the logo last time. Let me know what you think.

Check out the logo ImprezaWRXSTi uses. That would be cool in a wagon. They use just the top outline of the Impreza where I think it would look much cooler using the whole outline of the car. Wagon or sedan. Maybe just making it in black and white sometimes adding more than two colors to a design can get costly.
BTW, we're not making another batch of tshirts until we offload the old ones, FYI. *warning look at Chad* :)
Does anyone have a good, high-res picture or camera-ready art of the Subaru emblem and lettering? Similar to the upper left hand corner of http://www.subaru.com.
Unfortunately I can't use/sell Subaru specific items/logos. So any shirt made needs to be mostly original artwork, like our sites logo.

I've been playing with logos, including one based on the imprezawrxsti uses. That one's sharp, but definitely looks like a knock-off of their logo and I just can't bring myself to scam it as my own. Any more thoughts or suggestions on the front or side views in black and white? (I'll attach the B&W version... dropped the grays to make printing cheaper and I think it makes the logo better, anyway.) Still open to suggestions, though I probably won't take the time to make a GT unless you're pretty sure you want it for the logo. (Sorry Jonny.)

Hi Tide,
We do many t-shirts, and have years of experience and the best sources.
If you want the best shirts at the best prices, I can give you a few USA vendors we have worked with for our lower volumes and special runs.
