My fridge is getting close to empty. I have a few bottles of each:

Butte Creek Organic IPA
Gordon Biersch Pilsner
Singha Lager (labeled "malt liquor" in CA due to the silly state law that requires lagers w/ 6.0% or higher ABV to have the "malt liquor" designation, yet ales are exempt from such an arbitrary requirement)

alot of different names for a similar drink...

i do enjoy doing the: pour about 1/3 of a pint with woodchuck cider, place a spoon upside down over the glass, then pour your guinness in. i do prefer more guinness than cider... back in PA people called them "half and half", but i'm pretty sure a half and half is guinness and bass...

Trippel is good beer, it's been awhile since I bought that.

Right now I just have Pyramid Heffewiesen because it was on sale for dirt cheap at the store, but I usually stock Blue Moon or Hoegarten (even better). I also like Fat Tire, Alaskan Amber, or any good amber beer really.

I tried a beer called Summer Solstice at my local tavern the other day (great beer selection, always rotating list of beers). Has anyone ever heard of it? It's a great tasting beer that is Amber in color but tastes nothing like an Amber. It has this cream soda aftertaste/effect to it, and is surprisingly light and crisp tasting for darker beer; I highly recomend trying it, if you can find it.

Summer Solstice is a seasonal summer ale produced by Anderson Valley Brewing Company in Boonville, Mendocino County, CA. Good stuff. Light and creamy.

http://www.avbc.com/beers/summersolstice.html

IMO, AVBC is one of the best ale breweries. North Coast Brewing Company in nearby Fort Bragg, CA, is another great one.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to try and find some around here. We have a brand new specialty Beer and Wine shop that just opened, maybe I'll get lucky and find some there. Next to Hoegarten (pronouned: Who-gar-ten), I think it's my favorite beer.

This gives me good idea, I think it would be fun to take a West Coast beer tour, drive from Washington to Cali sampling a bunch of great breweries; kinda like people do with the Wine country, but with beer instead! I know there are a bunch of great Breweries in Washington, Oregon and Cali.

I love a little local brewery called Clay Pipe Brewery.

They are spreading across the U.S. with two different brews.

Back-Fin Pale Ale...which is a light and tasty ale that is great for summer.

Then they have my favorite Hopacolypse. Which obviously is very very hoppy. I love it. If you can find either, give them a shot. My fridge has a six pack of both right now.

It's an excellent American microbrewed interpretation of a Belgian trippel. IMO, it's like half-priced Chimay Blue Label, 10% ABV, $5/large bottle (22.4 oz.) versus $10/large bottle for Chimay Blue Label.

Just bought the "beers from Mexico" combo case. Sol, Both Dos Equis, and one other that I cannot remember.
Tecate!!! or something like that. Just had that case about two months ago. I've always had Dos Equis amber which I really liked much more so than Corona. But the Dos Equis lager went down so smooth I had to buy a case. Negra Modelo is great as well.

Also tried this one which I always liked in the past but didn't strike my fancy this time.

A couple of Bells Hopslams and one 16oz Miller lite can (that was sitting in my car for a week). Also, a Great Lakes Christmas Ale, at least a year old.

I would like to say I love hearing everyone talk about Fat Tire...and the fact I can't get any here in Ohio. You sir, are welcome to enjoy my Miller Lite

I forgot -- 4 Harpoon Ciders
I generally like Cider on a hot Summer day (either Woodchuck ftw), but this stuff tastes like a$$. I had to muscle past the first 2 and I have no idea how I'm gonna keep those others down. What a waste of $...

Since I was "21", I've pretty much only drank Miller Lite. After taking the Sam Adams Brewery tour in Boston, my eyes have been opened to trying new things. So the current inventory is:

Lancaster Strawberry Wheat (wanted to try something totally different) - 6
Sam Adams Octoberfest (Yum) - 4
MGD 64 (my wife wanted to try it, she's a beer drinker and I lover her for it) - 6
Miller Lite (remains a staple) - too many to count
Heineken (My brother left it at my house) - 3
