What is everyone using in Aus? would love to hear opinion's on ecutek (how much kw's gained etc.) from people that have used it (not info off mrt site!)

I asked amberley auto in victoria today, they said the've tuned 1 liberty and only got 10kw atw gain!?!

Any suggestons of other comps. to use? or why you think ecutek is good? :)

LMO seriously if you want some really good advice, call some of the boys @ AVO or go into Subaru Docklands and talk to the STi lads there. They have a Tuner company onsite that looks after a lot of the big bang WRX toys and Im sure they would be more than willing to assist. Also they have an AWD Dyno on the spot.

yeah already spoke to AVO, they so the piggyback but havent done any libertys yet so im not to confident with that option ( i know theve done em in japan, but it doesnt seem like they know much here)

Anything to do with STI and docklands add a thousand dollars on price!!! only kidding, i might give them a call, what do you think of ecutek adam?

Well dont know of anyone that has used it personally but I have seen one of their demo cars on the road that is running the gear, it was a MY02 B4. Im pretty sure its one of the Owner's cars so it would have to be good. All you can really do is go there, have a chat and look at the data but also look at their warranty and what affect it may have on the New Car Warranty at Subaru.

Yes agreed the pricing at Docklands for EXTRA services could be very expensive but if it works, go for it I say.

Are you going to enter yr car into Auto Salon or anything like it this year?
Adam.

Getting ecutek done on tueday by amberley, spoke to rob the tuner there and he seems to know what hes talking about, he says max extra power about 30kw min. 10kw which is ok i guess, i dont really have much choice as since i installed the new top mount lib. is running an extra pound of boost (and it feels much quicker!) but it has to be tuned.

Spoke to STI they dont really offer anything or know much about the new liberty so i guess i'll be a guinea pig for you guys!! i'll try to post the dyno results next week.

As for the auto salon, might be a good idea, not a lot of modded libertys out there, being a fairly new model, would make a change from seeing all the wrx's!
