Depending where in Tokyo you go, you can check out the red light district, eat crazy awesome sushi still ALIVE, and eat, eat, eat some of my most favorite other foods. Rappongi is cool, autobachs is great, but expensive. I really like to see the bonsai gardens, since that is what i do as a hobby. Either way, you will have a blast.

car parts? Man, if you are looking for subaru parts, I can give you DIRECTIONS to some great places.

do you have your JR PASS?

make sure to buy it before you leave. Once you are in Japan, you cannot buy this free pass.

I lived in Chiba, next to Tokyo, for over a year and have been traveling to and from there for the last 5 years.

Let me know if you need any help and if you have any specific foods you are crazy about trying.

I was there last month for business... We stayed in Shinjuku, Chiba, Raponggi and I enjoyed it. Not the biggest fan of Japanese food, but I tried several firsts.... Blowfish testicles, Crab dung, chicken knuckles....

Saw a few subaru's while I was there.... never made it to Gunma.

shoes and car parts?
you are in right place for car parts, but shoes....

bathing ape, Billionaire boys club, nike special editions.

for a shoe collector, japan is like heaven.

Bapetalk has a map of aoyama you can use to find all the good stores.
