Is that a Legacy interior? Check out the gauges. They're like the Outback. Or is that how they're supposed to be for the 2.5i models (without the electrolumiscent gauges)

According to the brochure only the GT and XT trims get the electroluminescent gauges.
FWIW, all the models have the needle sweep on startup.

Not to be picky, but they are air con knobs, not climate control.

Hmm, whats the difference between air conditioning and climate control? Does climate control mean that you know exactly what it is doing (i.e. automatic temp readout)

That guy is smoking crack with that price. Sure the 05 Legacy is a decided improvement, but I highly doubt its presence will warrent such gouging. I also doubt it will make as large a splash as the debut of the 350z for example.

Climate control means you can set the temp and let the car do the rest eg control fans and air temp, air con just blows air at the temp you set and at the fan setting.
On some systems there will be a sunlight sensor to monitor how much sun there is on the windscreen and I think this is used as part of the climate control as when the sun is beating down the car ends up like being a green house on wheels.
Hope this makes sense and has some semblance(sp?) of accuracy
