TPMS Questions

I just bought a set of 17" Tarmac 2 with Blizzak LM 22 mounted for winter use. First, is there a way to disable the flashing (I've been told) light on the dash without mounting new sensors? (I don't want to use the sensors from my summer wheels.) If not, is Tire Rack the place to buy new ones? What's involved in getting the system to link up with them? I'd love to not have to get them at all and would prefer to disable the light on the dash.

I haven't heard of anyone able to disable the flashing light yet. If you get new sensors, you'll have to have the Subaru dealer reset the system so that they communicate wit hthe car (which they'll charge you for of course). There is no way to reset it yourself - it has to be done with the Subaru Select Monitor that the dealer uses.

We wereable to enable the NAV while moving. We should be able to disable that dumb light.

This will become a bigger issue as more people mount their winter tire/wheel combos without TPMS. Let's hope there's a good answer to this one.
