i have read your faq prolly 45 times over the past few months...read it again before posting.....

I was either tired and missed something, or you don't have anything there about that size

you've been quite helpful in the past but that above was a pretty crappy response

It shows that an 8.5" rim is suggested.....

rubbing issues?
have you used that size?
gas mileage

looking for details man

give me a friggin break

those are a noticable size above stock, may I ask why you want tires that big?

that tire size isn't listed because it's plainly too big to even fit on a Legacy. If you dont see it on the FAQ, it means it's not meant to be on the car.

i did the calculations all the way through. I also indicated in the 1st post that anything larger than 25.5" in diameter will have a problem fitting under stock shocks due to the spring perch being in the way or possible rubbing the sidewall flex.

the only car that could be mounted on that tire size would be an Outback because they run a different tire diameter allowance (as much at 27.4" tall).

Hope that helps.

yeah..it does help and thank you...it was a spur of the moment thing.....

and why would be a great deal on a set of 4 brand new on a tire that has 800 treadwear...for comuting of course. i have my eye on some other stuff for track use

I understand this is because of the lower perch being higher on Outback struts, right?

Could it be that LGT with coilovers would allow for larger wheel diameter? (academic question, really)
