Just picked up my new rims earlier tonight! Got them through my good friend Henry @ MachIII (http://www.machiii.net/) in San Francisco. They are AME Tracer FS-01s 18x8 +48 (clears Brembos) in Hyper Silver. AME is new in the US but is huge in Japan with the VIP crowd. AME is a subsidiary of Enkei. They are fairly light @ 20lbs, I really like them as they are very unique and rare. To me, they look like a Work Emotion + STI BBS. I will be wrapping them with Bridgestone RE-01Rs 245/40/18 (my dad is a Bridgestone dealer). Henry (who also sells pretty much everything) can be reached at: hchen@machiii.net
On with the pics:

So what did the 8x18's set you back. I was under the assumption that they are pretty pricey? The doo look sic though, can't wait to see them mounted on the car.

yeah, after seeing nKoan's car I've been debating on getting these wheels as well. Just wasn't sure about going with 17s or 18s. I already knew what they looked like in 17s and now I'll be able to see them in 18s.
Got them through my good friend Henry @ MachIII (http://www.machiii.net/) in San Francisco. <snip> Henry (who also sells pretty much everything) can be reached at: hchen@machiii.net
ask him to become a vendor here ;)

What size tire is on there? They look pretty wide. Not quiet 245's maybe 235? Looks like some pretty agressive summer rubber. Not many groves big traction blocks. Me Likey. I love hypersilver I have hypersilver too. Sweet ride man.

let me know what you think of the tires...I'm about to order a set myself I think. hope the prodrive cans were clean enough...I hit them with wd40 and steel wool to shine them up :)

Thanks again for the Prodrives Dan, they were perfect but a little hard to align. These are the only street tires that I will buy. I have had these on multiple cars and no other street tire can withstand the heat on the track other than the Neova which is quite a bit more. The Neova is great but the RE-01R is better. Hope that helps.

They look awesome in 18" :D I'm starting to wish I did 18, even though I dislike 18s most of the time.
Good work man!
Very Very nice.
I love this rim and it looks great on your sedan.
As soon as I saw them advertised in Super Street Magazine months ago, they have been haunting my dreams. I'd sell a daughter for these!

good to know. there's a new dunlop that's even less....trying to decide whether to spend the extra $$ on the RE-01's. 100% a street tire for me

So 245 tires fit without having to roll any fenders or anything?

I cut the rears. As for pricing, I can't disclose what I paid for them but if you contact my buddy Henry @ MachIII (hchen@machiii.net), I'm sure he'll give you a great price. Here's Henry's car:
