i have a 2000 lgt 4eat and when i start my car in the morning or whenever the engine is cold i put it in reverse and i hear sold bang. i talked to someone i work with and they thought maybe a tranny mount or engine mount is broke. do you think that might be it? there is 110,000 on the car and i have intake, headers, cat-back, and cobb pulley. maybe since the car is so old and i have alot more torque from the motor they might be broke. can you think of anything else?

I've tried to have sex while in reverse, but it's tough to keep the clutch in and I keep backing into things.

but serously can you think of a reason why this would happen. maybe just because the car is cold

I would look at the mounts as the person at work mentioned. it is probably a mount that is lose/broken/missing.

i have a auto, and sometimes in reverse when i'm feathering the gas, the car feels like its going to die, almost as if the idle is off....
