What do you guys think? They'll probably look better on the white one. :?:

I've never liked dark w/ dark wheels. I need some contrast. Silver or white would look best IMO.

Silver, gold, bronze, something else, I agree Preston, I'm not a big fan of the same colors with wheels/body, I like contrast too.

I think a GT Wagon w/ something similar to the Spec B wheels in Bronze on black body would be sweet.

I'm likely jumping for silver for maintainability. I have black right now and it stays clean for about 2hrs. Just don't have the time to be washing it daily, gets dirty easily if even driving down the driveway (gravel/dirt.)

I'm not even big on black/bronze because that's still too dark for me. White/bronze like VividRacing's Evo is awesome though. And whatever you do, DO NOT put silver and gold, PLEASE.

Gold rims do not look too bad on silver.. that's of course my opinion.. I always wanted a bugeye STi in silver with the gold STi rims. DROOOOL!

Nice photoshop Wedge!

While I agree that's not a look I'd be after, if you like it, go for it!

Hey, while we're on the topic of checking out different wheels on the new GT, would anyone with some photoshop skills (and software) be willing to put the current 5 spoke 17" optional wheels (the light bronze ones you can get on the WRX) on a silver wagon? For some reason, I really like those wheels and I'd really like to see how that looks.

Thanks!

Wedge,
While I don't care much for the look in the pic above, I really do like the setup in the true life pic you posted earlier...

Yeah, I think the photoshop came out bad in terms of lighting....but that other shot is looking mighty attractive!

I generally don't like dark on dark wheel combos, as well. There has to be some contrast. It doesn't have to go all the way to chrome, but... has to attract some attention. The combo that Sub-attraction posted looks pretty good, though!

No thank you.
Never was a big fan of all black vehicles either...

Well you could get some dark wheels with a silver lip. Thats what I have on my 98 Accord right now.

I think those Rota Tarmac II's in Royal Black would look quite good on a black sedan or wagon.

Hi there.

Here's a pic I found with Prodrive GC010. Pretty close to P1, looks better than P1 IMO.

Welcome Andrei, I'd have to agree with you, just too bad they don't make them in Bronze. Similar style to Spec B wheels.

The Rota Tarmac II's are a cast version we have available here, slightly heavier, available in Bronze ;), and very cost effective.

Don't you have to get new valve stems for aftermarket wheels?

Or find someway to turn off the system, like maybe a fuse hopefully?
