Compared to other car companies and the kind of Rims or lack of Rims they put on their cars, does anyone else find the stock subaru legacy 17s to be quite sexy?
Here is a pic off GT Subie's thread. These are the ones I mean. When you think about what kind of Rims you get (or in some cases don't get) from Honda, Nissan or Toyota, I think these Rims are quite sexy

To each his own, I prefer the 07 to the 06. I still feel BMW does the best job on their OEM wheels. The way they fit in the wheelwells and have the spokes push the eye outward to make them seem larger than they really are looks very nice to me.
2005-2006 have decent design

Nice, clean, simple. Beats the heck out of our '06 LOB stockers.

I always thought the rims that came with the 2005 model when they were introduced were some of the best looking OEM rims to come out in some time. I only wished you could get the exact same versions in 18" for those that want to change the size and stance. :)

I thought they looked like plastic ............. had gold sti wheels within a couple months of buying the car.

The '05 shape / style is ok. If it was a darker grey/ gunmetal color it would apeal to me more. Seems all factory wheels are the same grey color.
I've always liked the stock 05 wheels a lot. Of course if they were a little wider and bigger then they'd be extremely hot for a stock wheel.
My biggest issue with them is that they are a very bland silver, and don't look great against white.
The brighter, sparklier silver they put on the Spec B wheel is what they should have been painted...

I've always liked the design of the stock wheels.
But the sizing :icon_neut. 17x7 is just too small.

I still like my stock 05 GT rims after 2 years. I keep mine spotless inside and out and they still turn heads. They match the lines of the car very well. I think they will look better with a 1.5" drop. Or I would agree they would be prefect in an 18" model.

Is it just me or does someone else think these rims look very similar?

porsche directly copied the subaru rims actually. I've scene posts about it before some other forums.

They're cool, but Im not too fond of the offset, nor that they are only 7in wide.

I don't mine stock rims but 8 inch wide instead of 7 would be better for the performance this car has.
However, it might not be the best for snow, which is why Subaru went with the 7 inch stock rims IMO.

I like the stock rims, esp. on the spec.B. Shoot, I even like the stockers on the OBXT. They'd be nicer in a darker color on the ABP/GG dual-tone car, though.

Will the stock wheels from a modern LGT fit on an older Outback?
'99 to be exact.
