View Full Version : Clock relocation to ashtray bezel- pics please?

Hi All,
Does anyone have any pics of the clock relocation panel /bezel just as a part? I'd like to see what is supplied withthis part and what it looks like.

I'm not going to relocate my clock but want to see if i can use the panel to install something else in the ashtray slot.

Sadly I do not have a pic of just the part. What I can tell you is that it is just a plastic bezel that the clock unit snaps into and the bezel piece snaps into where the ashtray goes. Its pretty much a 1 piece part.

Here is a pic of it installed in my car if that helps at all.

It also has to be modified since it is made for RHD cars.

Thanks Googalash, i was hoping it would be a one piece part. Also, what did it cost you?

Actaully I did not have to mod the kit at all. The kit works in a LHD car with no problem.

One thing to note though is that the kit coems with an extension cable. DO NOT use it. The extension while having the correct plugs on both ends is missing 2 wires for the passanger airbag weight sensor system. So the you get a CEL because the car will think that the passanger airbag sensor is not hooked up/working.
