The gloves are for your feet and the "little booties" are for your hands. I don't think it gets any simpler than that.

I mean are the gloves like "Mechanix" gloves? If so, I could use some. As far as the little booties, they just look like ballet slippers or something. What do you use them for? I can't imagine using them for anything I do.

no, they are driving gloves and driving shoes. I have a set of Puma/Sparco driving shoes as well as Puma Speedcats driving shoes.. it's a better heel construction, and better fit for heel toe action. The soles are soft enough to modulate the most minor changes on throttle and braking. Oh yea, to add some flare, my sparcos are 'blue suede shoes" ;)

The Puma speedcats I wear around, more comfortable than 90% of the VANs, Nike, Addias and Reebok casual/skate shoes. I guess you didnt look down when I was at the meet because that's all I wear now. And for the weekend racer, gotta wear Nomex ;)

As for the gloves, I am the kind of guy that hates having a sticky steering wheel from sweat and other stuff. Besides, I like having the window rolled down in 20 F while driving and just dress a little bit warmer. Same conditions if you were out on the track (you can't have your front windows rolled up when you are at the track.)

It's a driver's thing, you wouldnt understand ;) :p

You got that right! Electrical fires are no fun! Airbags deployed and I guess something was still running on some heavy load of amps or whatever. Things do get hot under there.

It looks like the 3/4 Joe Rocket jacket I have for my bike....I could use another without all the crash pads.

Oh its beyond effective. I had one at a test day earlier this year and it was cold and rainy, and water rolls off it like a freshly waxed dancer in a Jay-Z video....lol

Its water proof and thick, with drawstring. I wear xxl, so after Jan 15th, I am buying it for my big azz !! It has a hood and a dvd player built in , with GPS.........LOL
