The IS is one of Lexus' best sellers. It will be interesting to see what they do to the next manifestation. As it is, the drivetrain is straight out of the old Supra. It seems power could be added quite easily.

I think the best example was that I think Rod Millen one-off show model that stuffed a V8 under the bonnet. It was interesting looking but I'm sure went like nobody's business. I think C&D did a write-up on it, or perhaps I'm rembering from another mag.

It's owned by one of the guys of Cobb Tuning IIRC. That's the only picture I've ever seen of it as well. Aside from that, there have been two wagons in dark grey. One painted Porsche Seal Grey and another Ferrari Titanio Grigio. The Titanio Grigio was/is the cat's meow, aka the shizzle (for you youngens).

Former employees PPower, I don't think he even has the car anymore anyhow, but it was a great color. As I've noted before or elsewhere, the color is available through another mfg on their color pallete. Ya'll can keep guessing since he didn't want me to give out the secret. I'll check again if he doesn't mind with all the compliments. :cool:

BTW, those wheels were the Cobb CT-01's, I think that's what they were called, as far as I know, no longer available.

I did not wanna install my gauges on the A-Pillar. Hence, I bought the custom Defi Triple Meter holder for my Defi 60 mm BF Gauges. Perfect fit.

That would have been the perfect place for gauges, i.e., center of dash. But I have already installed a HKS EVC and my ICE.
