seat replacement 97 legacy L

My cloth driver seat is worn. Will the newer seats (model year 2000+) fit? My hunch is to look at local car recycling places for a good used leather one (with heat). (Wasn't sure whether to post here or in interior forum.)

You'll probably need the seat rails to go with but it will go in, kinda like adding WRX seats but they're Legacy ones:) Also, I'm not sure if they'll make you sit higher like the WRX ones or not.
